"Aadi Katre"

Weeks, Months are flying past this year. Something that stays still in my mind is memories of my holidays in Kanyakumari - the southern tip of India. Green fields, strong winds, rocky divine mountains and of course the matchless ocean - it is actually the meeting point of three oceans at Kanyakumari - The Indian Ocean, Arabian sea and Bay of bengal. It is beauty like no other.

Here is a self composed tillana in carnatic-jazz. The song is about "Aadi Katre" (Wind in the month of "Aadi" - which is typically half of each - July and Aug) in the southern tip of India - how the wind kisses the mountains, how the wind plays with the flowers on the mountains and the sea..

Thoroughly enjoyed it.Beautiful/sensitive composition.Haunting vocals, amply standing apart, thanks to minimalistic arrangements.Wonderful naadam! Some of your songs have this 'lets play endlessly' feel to them, like Avarshini. This one too! Keep doing the good work!
